The enigmatic Japanese singer-songwriter Ado has announced her highly anticipated second world tour, "Hibana," kicking off in April 2025. The tour, which coincides with Ado's 22nd birthday, follows the phenomenal success of her debut world tour, "Wish," earlier this year.
"If my first world tour embodied my 'Wish,' then my second will ignite the spark I want to light in the world," Ado stated in a press release. The name "Hibana," meaning "spark" in Japanese, reflects her intention to showcase her artistic growth and deliver her most electrifying performances yet.
Presented by Crunchyroll, the "Hibana" tour will begin with two shows in Saitama, Japan, before embarking on an extensive journey across Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Americas. The Asian leg includes highly anticipated stops in Bangkok, Manila, Taipei, Seoul, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
Manila fans will have the opportunity to witness Ado's unique brand of J-Pop on May 8th, 2025, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Crunchyroll users will enjoy a special pre-sale starting November 19th at 10:00 AM (PHT) using the code "CrunchyrollxAdo." The general ticket sale opens on November 22nd at 10:00 AM (PHT).
Ado, who debuted in 2020, is known for maintaining her anonymity, performing in near-darkness and utilizing anime-inspired visuals. Her popularity has soared with hits like "踊" (Odo), "唱" (Show), "Usseewa," and "RuLe," along with collaborations with LE SSERAFIM and theme songs for major anime titles including One Piece Film: Red and Spy x Family. She also produces the J-pop idol group Phantom Siita. The "Hibana" tour promises to be a truly unforgettable experience for fans worldwide.
