We are particularly interested in:

• Original reporting: Stories based on your research, interviews, and investigations.
• In-depth analysis: Thoughtful pieces that go beyond the headlines and provide context and perspective.
• Feature stories: Compelling narratives that explore interesting people, places, and events.
• Op-eds and commentaries: Well-reasoned arguments and perspectives on current issues.

Submission Guidelines:

• Originality: All submissions must be original, unpublished work. We do not accept articles that have been published elsewhere, including on personal blogs or websites.   
• Accuracy: Ensure your work is factually accurate and thoroughly researched. Cite your sources where appropriate, using hyperlinks for online sources.
• Clarity and Style: Write in a clear, concise, and engaging style. Avoid jargon and technical terms unless necessary, and explain them if used.
• Length: Article length may vary depending on the topic and format, but generally, we prefer pieces between 800 and 1500 words. Op-eds and commentaries can be shorter.
• Format: Submissions should be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
• Bio: Include a brief bio (around 50-75 words) with your submission, including your relevant experience and areas of expertise. You may also include links to your portfolio or website.
• Pitch First: We strongly recommend pitching your article idea before submitting a full draft. A pitch should include a summary of your proposed article (around 150-200 words), your angle, and why it would be a good fit for Trendline Daily News Magazine.
• Response Time: We strive to respond to pitches and submissions within 2 business days. However, due to the volume of submissions we receive, it may take longer. If you haven't heard from us within 3 days, please feel free to follow up.

• Editing: We reserve the right to edit all submissions for clarity, style, grammar, and accuracy. We will work with you to ensure your article meets our editorial standards.
