President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has pledged government assistance to three Filipino nationals detained in China on charges of alleged espionage. The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) confirmed that the Philippine Consulate General in Guangzhou is providing the necessary support, including legal aid, to ensure the rights and welfare of the detained individuals are upheld.
