Stronger Together: PH, Cambodia Aim for Economic Transformation
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet emphasized the need to strengthen trade and investment ties between Cambodia and the Philippines during his official visit. He aims to enhance partnerships in key sectors such as rice, tourism, air connectivity, skills development, and infrastructure. During the trip, he also witnessed the signing of agreements to boost economic and educational cooperation.
Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet emphasized that Cambodia and the Philippines still have significant opportunities to enhance their economic cooperation through stronger trade and investment ties.
Hun Manet is making his first official visit to the Philippines, which will continue until Tuesday.
On Monday, he attended the Philippines-Cambodia Business Forum in Makati City, encouraging Cambodian and Filipino businesses to deepen trade and investment collaborations.
The Cambodian leader aims to strengthen partnerships with the Philippines in key sectors, including rice, tourism, air connectivity, skills development, and infrastructure.
Meanwhile, he witnessed the signing of two MOUs between the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, as well as between Asia Europe University and World Citi Colleges. (PNA)
