The remains of missing aid workers discovered in a ‘mass grave’ in Gaza after Israeli strikes.
A mass grave containing the bodies of 15 aid workers was found in Gaza’s Rafah region following Israeli attacks. The victims included PRCS medics, civil defense workers, and a UN staff member. PRCS condemned the attacks as war crimes, while Israel defended its actions, claiming militants were using medical vehicles. Humanitarian groups denounced the killings, highlighting increasing violence against aid workers amid the ongoing conflict.

More than a dozen aid workers have been found in a mass grave in southern Gaza, a week after they went missing following attacks by Israeli forces, according to a United Nations agency.
On Sunday, 14 bodies were recovered in Rafah—eight identified as Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) members, five as civil defense personnel, and one as a UN agency employee. One PRCS medic remains missing. Last Thursday, another civil defense worker’s body was found after PRCS was initially denied access to the site.
PRCS had reported that nine emergency medical technicians went missing on March 23 after Israeli forces fired on ambulances and fire trucks in southern Rafah. The Israeli military claimed the vehicles were being used by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad militants.
International organizations condemned the attack, with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent calling it the deadliest for IFRC workers in nearly a decade. PRCS labeled the attack a “war crime” under international law.
