A 15-year-old entrepreneur launches a trendy fashion brand with a focus on sustainability. Discover how this young designer is making eco-friendly fashion fun and stylish.

Discovering one’s life purpose isn’t always easy, but for Andee Lagon, the vision for her future is already taking shape at just 15 years old. Driven by her passion for fashion, she has launched Loca, a brand designed for girls her age and women looking to add positivity and personality to their wardrobes.
Surrounded by her family, friends, and schoolmates, Andee recently unveiled Loca, which means crazy in Spanish. She explained to Metro.Style that the brand’s tagline, “embrace your crazy”, reflects her belief that fashion should be fun, expressive, and a way to showcase individuality.
A Year-Round Summer Aesthetic
Loca’s debut collection embraces a playful, summery vibe, featuring pastel hues, whimsical floral prints, and versatile pieces. Andee, who describes her personal style as summer-inspired, wanted to create outfits that can be worn year-round—whether on their own in warm weather or layered during cooler months.
A standout piece from the collection is a multifunctional scarf, designed to be styled in various ways. The scarf can be worn as a strapless or halter top, belt, hair accessory, or even a bag accent—a true reflection of Loca’s adaptability and creativity.
Making Fashion More Inclusive
Andee’s desire to launch her own brand stems from her personal struggle with finding well-fitting clothes. “Growing up, it was always hard to find clothes that fit me—everything was either too small or too big,” she shared. To address this, Loca offers a size range from 2XS (extra extra small) to XL (extra large), making the brand more inclusive.
This emphasis on size diversity is a major step in ensuring that every girl and woman, regardless of body type, can feel confident and comfortable in what they wear. Andee’s mission is to create a brand that celebrates individuality and empowers people through fashion.
A Legacy of Fashion Inspiration
As the daughter of Anna Lagon, the powerhouse behind Bayo and Unica, Andee grew up immersed in the fashion industry. She often accompanied her mother to photo shoots and design meetings, which nurtured her passion for style, creativity, and self-expression.
When she decided to create Loca, her mom was fully supportive. “She wants what I want,” Andee said, emphasizing the encouragement and guidance she has received from her family. Her mother’s industry expertise and Andee’s fresh perspective make for a powerful combination as she steps into the world of fashion.
A Bright Future in Fashion
Currently in Grade 10, Andee already knows that she wants to pursue fashion design in college. With her early start in the industry, hands-on experience, and a clear vision for her brand, her future in fashion looks incredibly promising.
For now, she’s focused on learning, creating, and enjoying the journey—all while embodying the youthful energy and positivity that define Loca.
At just 15 years old, Andee Lagon is proving that passion, determination, and creativity can turn dreams into reality. With Loca, she’s not only building a fashion brand but also inspiring young women to embrace their individuality and celebrate their uniqueness through style.
