BIGHIT MUSIC confirms BTS' J-Hope will release new music in March, marking his first solo project since his military discharge. Fans eagerly await more details on his comeback.
Speculation about BTS’ J-Hope making a solo comeback had been circulating for some time, especially after the idol dropped several hints on social media regarding new music. On February 6, BIGHIT MUSIC responded to the reports, confirming the news and fueling excitement among fans eagerly awaiting his return.
According to South Korean media reports, a representative from BIGHIT MUSIC stated, “It’s true that J-Hope is currently preparing with the goal of releasing new music in March.” However, further details about promotional activities and the exact release date will be shared in an official announcement later. The representative added, “A more specific date will be announced at a later time.”
On January 24, J-Hope sparked speculation when he launched his TikTok account and shared a video hinting at his upcoming project. In the clip, he slid his phone toward the camera, showing a lock screen displaying the time “03:07,” leading fans to believe his new music might drop on March 7. Additionally, he had previously posted snippets of his daily life and music-making process on Instagram, captioning them, “New music on the way. 2025.03.”
If released on March 7, this upcoming project will be J-Hope’s first solo music since his military discharge in October 2024. Fans are eager to see how his experiences as a military trainee will influence his music. Meanwhile, he is also preparing for his solo concerts, set to take place at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Seoul, from February 28 to March 2.
J-Hope’s solo career has been on a steady rise since he released his first full-length album, Jack In The Box, in July 2022. Before his enlistment, he also dropped the single album On the Street in March 2023, followed by HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1 while serving in the military. With his return to the music scene, fans are eager to see what he has in store next.
