What is ChatGPT Search?
Originally tested as "SearchGPT" and launched for paid users in November, the feature rolled out to free users in December. It enhances ChatGPT with live web access, delivering up-to-date news, sports scores, stock prices, and more—just like a search engine, but in a conversational way.
How to Use It?
ChatGPT will automatically search the web based on your query, or you can manually trigger a search using the web search icon. Results are displayed with source links in a new, visually enhanced interface, featuring weather updates, news highlights, maps, and more.
