Paramount reveals the release date and cast for 'The Angry Birds Movie 3'

Paramount Pictures has officially announced the release date and cast for 'The Angry Birds Movie 3', the third installment in the popular animated franchise based on Rovio Entertainment's hit mobile game. The film is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on January 29, 2027. 

Returning Cast Members

Several familiar voices will return to reprise their roles from the previous films:

• Jason Sudeikis as Red: The hot-headed leader of the Angry Birds.​

• Josh Gad as Chuck: The speedy and eccentric yellow bird.​

• Rachel Bloom as Silver: The inventive and intelligent bird introduced in the second film.​

• Danny McBride as Bomb: The explosive member of the flock.​

• Psalm West: At just 5 years old, Psalm West, son of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, will make his voice acting debut in the film. 

Production Team

The film is directed by John Rice, known for his work on 'The Angry Birds Movie' and 'Beavis & Butt-Head Do the Universe'. The screenplay is penned by Thurop Van Orman, who also served as a writer for the previous installments. Van Orman is joined by Toru Nakahara as executive producer. Producers include John Cohen, recognized for his work on 'Despicable Me' and the upcoming 'The Garfield Movie'; Dan Chuba of 'The Mitchells vs. the Machines' fame; and Carla Connor from 'The Willoughbys'. The musical score will be composed by Heitor Pereira, a Grammy Award-winning artist known for scoring the previous 'Angry Birds' films, as well as 'Despicable Me' and 'Puss in Boots: The Last Wish'.
