PNP Declares Full Alert for Eleksyon 2025 Security

Full Alert Status:
Effective at 12:01 AM on May 3, the PNP has activated its full alert status, which will remain in effect until 11:59 PM on May 15. This measure aims to ensure the readiness of all police units and the mobilization of necessary resources to maintain peace and order during the election period. -
Deployment of Personnel:
Over 120,000 police personnel have been deployed nationwide to secure more than 37,000 voting centers. Special focus is given to areas identified as election hotspots, including the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), where 80% of the required personnel have already been stationed. -
Election-Related Incidents:
As of April 28, the PNP has recorded 35 validated election-related incidents (ERIs), with the highest number in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) and BARMM. These incidents include violence and other disturbances that the PNP aims to address proactively.-
Coordination with COMELEC:
The PNP is closely collaborating with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) and other government agencies to uphold the rule of law and safeguard the electoral process. Measures are in place to prevent any acts of violence or disruption that could derail the elections.
