On April 8, 2025, the Australian government donated 20 aerial drones valued at PHP 34 million to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG). The handover ceremony took place in Bataan, with Australian Ambassador to the Philippines HK Yu presenting the drones to PCG Commandant Admiral Ronnie Gil Gavan.
