The decision comes in response to concerns about the fast pace of lessons and the mounting workload for students as the academic calendar winds down. Assistant Secretary Francis Bringas emphasized the importance of this pause, stating that the change is intended to support both students and teachers during this busy period. By adopting asynchronous learning, students can manage their tasks independently, while teachers also benefit from a brief reprieve from reporting to their designated stations.
