Esports powerhouses Team Falcons and Twisted Minds announce their official entry into the MLBB PH scene

The Philippines’ esports landscape is set for an exciting transformation as Saudi Arabia-based organizations Team Falcons and Twisted Minds officially enter the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) scene. The globally recognized teams confirmed their involvement during a private business luncheon in Makati City, revealing that they have secured slots previously held by Blacklist International and RSG Philippines.

A Strategic Move into the Strongest MLBB Region

Both organizations have expressed their enthusiasm for joining the Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines (MPL PH), widely regarded as the strongest region for MLBB esports. According to Grant Rousseau, the Global Director of Esports for Team Falcons, the decision to invest in the Philippines stems from the region’s unrivaled competitive edge.

“The Philippines is the strongest region for MLBB players, from a competitive point of view,” Rousseau noted. He added that after successfully testing the waters with AP Bren last year, Team Falcons now has a deeper understanding of the Philippine market’s dynamics and is prepared to build a franchise team capable of competing at the highest level.

Meanwhile, Ibrahim Bin Jibreen, CEO and founder of Twisted Minds, shared his excitement about immersing the organization in the Filipino esports scene. He praised the Philippines for its vibrant community and unparalleled competition, highlighting its significance as a hub for MLBB talent.

“We’re excited to bring opportunities for players, coaches, and managers—all of them will be composed of Filipinos,” Bin Jibreen explained. He emphasized that this move not only represents a step forward for Twisted Minds but also a chance to connect with the local market and provide career opportunities for Filipino talent.
