Instacart is introducing Store View, a new way for shoppers to earn money by recording videos of store shelves. This feature will help Instacart track product availability and out-of-stock items, improving its ability to predict restocking times.
How Store View Works
By capturing aisle-by-aisle footage, Instacart can enhance its inventory tracking system. This will allow the company to predict when out-of-stock products will be replenished—especially for orders placed overnight for next-day delivery.
