The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) have joined forces to fight cybercrimes involving illicit substances. In order to trace drug transactions, especially those using cryptocurrencies, the arrangement gives the PDEA access to the CICC's resources and experience, simplifying data exchange with other organizations. The difficulties presented by criminals increasingly employing digital money to avoid detection are addressed by this partnership.
