The Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO 7) arrested 62 drug suspects and seized nearly ₱2 million worth of illegal drugs in a coordinated operation on March 18, 2025.

Authorities confiscated 273.36 grams of suspected shabu, valued at ₱1,858,848, along with drug paraphernalia, which has been submitted to the PNP Forensic Unit for analysis. The arrested individuals are currently held in police custodial facilities.

Police Brigadier General Redrico Maranan reaffirmed PRO 7’s commitment to eradicating illegal drugs, emphasizing that the operation reflects their dedication to ensuring safer communities. He also assured continued collaboration with law enforcement agencies and local government units to strengthen anti-drug efforts in the region.
