Establishments across Metro Manila and the Philippines will take part in Earth Hour 2025 on March 22 by turning off their lights and hosting eco-friendly events. Highlights include a candle-lit concert, a floating lotus ceremony, and solar-powered light displays. Earth Hour, initiated by WWF in 2007, has become a global movement promoting sustainability.

Several establishments across Metro Manila and the Philippines will participate in Earth Hour 2025 by turning off their lights and hosting eco-friendly activities on March 22 from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
More than 4,000 7-Eleven stores nationwide will power down their lights while remaining open. Araneta City will join the global switch-off, turning off lights across its landmarks and streets in support of sustainability.
Uptown Bonifacio will feature an unplugged concert by rock band Over October and a 1,000-candle illumination ceremony. Venice Grand Canal will host a Floating Lotus Ceremony with 600 illuminated lotus flowers forming the iconic "60+" symbol.
Forbes Town will showcase a Glowing Garden with 600 solar-powered lights, while Arcovia City will hold a live harp performance at The Viewdeck for a serene, candle-lit experience.
Earth Hour, an initiative by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), began in Sydney, Australia, in 2007 and has since grown into a global movement involving over 185 countries. The Philippines has been participating since 2008.
