5 Dead as Shear Line Triggers Severe Flooding in Palawan

Five people lost their lives in Aborlan, Palawan, after their van was swept away by floodwaters caused by heavy rains from the shear line, according to GMA Integrated News’ Unang Balita on Wednesday.

Rescue teams recovered the victims’ bodies, while one child was saved from the incident.

Meanwhile, Puerto Princesa City has been placed under a state of calamity due to severe flooding. The city government reported that 24 barangays were affected, impacting over 3,000 residents, 1,000 farmers, and nearly 800 hectares of farmland.
