Metro Manila, nearby areas to have power interruptions Feb 6 to 9

MANILA, Philippines — Several areas across Metro Manila, Central Luzon, and Calabarzon will experience power interruptions from Thursday to Sunday, February 6 to 9, 2025, as announced by the Manila Electric Company (Meralco).
According to multiple advisories posted on its website, Meralco stated that the scheduled outages are necessary for various maintenance activities, including facility upgrades, equipment relocation, pole and line replacements, and reconductoring work—the process of installing new cables on transmission towers.
