R.L Stine’s book series called “Fear Street” has now a Film based on it; a trilogy introduced just in 2021 called Fear Street Part One: 1994, Fear Street Part Two: 1978, Fear Street Part 3: 1666— Set in the cursed town of Shadyside, the trilogy follows a group of teens who uncover the dark history of a series of brutal murders spanning centuries. Starting with a slasher-inspired mystery, a camp slasher throwback, and finally where the origins of the curse are revealed. As the teens face off against a powerful, ancient force, they must work together to break the curse or risk becoming its next victims. It’s a mix of creepy nostalgia, brutal kills, and unexpected twists.

Though it is only a trilogy with a limited story to tell, fans have been excited as they hear that the same production of the trilogy is yet to release another film based on this book!

There are no big announcements yet so fans are a bit bummed to find out that they have to wait for it to be released.

Here’s what we know so far:

The new movie is a standalone film, which means that it is not connected to the previous trilogy, so it is expected that the casts from the trilogy will not return.

There is no exact date of when it will be released but as per Netflix itself, it will be sometime this 2025.

Important casts have been revealed. It is said that some of the casts will be: Ariana Greenblatt, Katherine Waterston, Lili Taylor, Chris Klein, Ella Rubin, David Iacono, Fina Strazza, Suzanna Son, India Fowler, Rebecca Ablack, Ilan O’Driscoll, Damian Romeo, Dakota Taylor, Eden Summer Gilmore, Brennan Clost, Cecilia Lee, and Ryan Rosery.

Plot: “We're back in Shadyside and the year is 1988, with Senior Prom just two days away the race for prom queen is already heating up, but when somebody starts slaughtering the prom queen candidates, all hell is set to break loose. Think classic 80s slasher and all the fun that entails, but with compelling characters, needle drops, dancing and a whole lot more!” -director and co-writer Matt Palmer.

We'll certainly miss the unforgettable trilogy, but it's exciting that the writers are bringing us another story to experience. This gives us the chance to enjoy the work of these talented creators and writers, who will deliver yet another thrilling and chilling experience!
