PDEA confiscated ₱217.6 million worth of suspected shabu and ecstasy in a buy-bust operation in Bacoor City, Cavite. A Chinese national, identified as "Li," was arrested after selling one kilo of shabu to an undercover agent. Authorities also seized 31 more kilos of shabu, ecstasy tablets, and a vehicle. The suspect faces charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Authorities seized ₱217.6 million worth of suspected shabu and ecstasy and arrested a Chinese national in a buy-bust operation in Bacoor City, Cavite, on Friday, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) reported.
PDEA Director General Undersecretary Isagani Nerez identified the suspect as 35-year-old “Li,” who allegedly sold one kilo of shabu worth ₱6.8 million to an undercover agent in a fast-food parking lot along Bacoor Boulevard.
Further searches led to the discovery of 31 more plastic bags containing 31 kilos of shabu valued at ₱210.8 million, along with four sachets containing 35 ecstasy tablets worth ₱42,000, a vehicle, and other personal belongings.
Li is set to face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 for the sale and possession of illegal drugs.
