SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan Dominates Global Charts with 'Better Half' while serving in the military

SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan is making waves both domestically and internationally with his new solo track, ‘Better Half (feat. Omoinotake)’. According to his agency, Pledis Entertainment, the song quickly climbed to the top of the real-time chart on Bugs, a popular Korean music platform, shortly after its release on January 27th at 8 PM KST. By January 28th at 9 AM KST, the track had also secured spots on the iTunes Top Songs charts in nine countries, including Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand. 

The song, a collaboration with Japanese piano trio Omoinotake, beautifully conveys themes of unwavering love and devotion despite physical separation. Jeonghan’s soothing vocals pair seamlessly with Omoinotake’s melodic piano arrangements, creating a heartfelt and harmonious track. Omoinotake, known for their work on the theme song ‘Ikuokukonen (幾億光年)’ for the TBS drama ‘Eye Love You’, brings a unique musical depth to the collaboration. 

The Japanese version of ‘Better Half’ will be featured on Omoinotake’s upcoming album, set to drop on January 29th. Fans can also look forward to a studio recording video featuring Jeonghan, which will be released on Omoinotake’s official YouTube channel on the same day. 

Meanwhile, Jeonghan and SEVENTEEN are currently captivating audiences on their ‘SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR IN ASIA’. Following successful performances at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan and the Singapore National Stadium, the group is set to take the stage at the Jakarta International Stadium on February 8th and 9th, followed by concerts at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok on February 15th and 16th.
