Weather Forecast: Cloudy Skies and Rains Across the Philippines Due to Amihan and Easterlies
Luzon will experience cloudy skies and rain due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), while the rest of the country will see similar weather from the easterlies, with scattered rains and thunderstorms in some regions. PAGASA reported no active low pressure areas or potential tropical cyclones at the moment.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has forecasted cloudy skies and rains across Luzon due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), while other parts of the country will experience similar weather conditions brought by the easterlies.
According to PAGASA's daily weather forecast, the regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte will experience cloudy skies with rain as a result of the Amihan. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
Meanwhile, Caraga, Davao Region, and SOCCSKSARGEN will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies, while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA also stated that as of 2 a.m. on Wednesday, no low pressure areas were being monitored for potential tropical cyclone development.
